These terms govern your use of this website and the information published on it. Using the site means accepting them.

What this platform is
An independent football research, heritage, development and opportunity-discovery platform, run from Nairobi. It is not the governing body of football in Kenya, it does not select national teams, it does not register players or clubs, and it does not run trials. Nothing here is an offer of a place, a contract, a trial or employment.
What this platform is not
KickStartKenyaFootball performs no work requiring a Kenyan licence, registration or practising certificate that it does not hold; where a registration is held it is published, with its number and the date it was granted, on our governance page. It is not an estate agent, property agent or property manager, valuer, investment adviser, investment intermediary, investment bank, broker or dealer, fundraising or crowdfunding platform, law firm, surveying, architectural, quantity-surveying or engineering practice, construction contractor, environmental consultancy, employment or recruitment agency, insurance intermediary, payment-service provider, football governing body, FIFA-licensed football agency or any other regulated or licensed Kenyan professional service.
What we do instead
We conduct football research, publish indicative development scenarios, receive preliminary expressions of interest, identify where football infrastructure could go, and publish a register of licensed Kenyan professionals so you can appoint one yourself. We make no introductions: we do not introduce a specific site, party or transaction to anyone, we do not forward what you send us, and we are paid nothing by any professional or by you. Every regulated activity belongs to a professional or business holding the required Kenyan registration, licence, approval or current practising certificate, appointed directly by you.
No relationship is created by contacting us
Sending information does not create an agency relationship, a fiduciary relationship or a professional-client relationship. We do not act for you, for an owner, for an investor or for a county. You are not appointed to represent KickStartKenyaFootball by submitting anything, and nobody may describe themselves as authorised, accredited, approved or licensed by us — we authorise, accredit, approve and licence nobody.
Nothing is promised
No funding, transaction, introduction or outcome is promised. We do not guarantee that a submission will be read by any third party, put to anyone, funded or taken forward. Everything remains subject to independent due diligence and to all required approvals.
No payment, ever, for an introduction
KickStartKenyaFootball offers no introduction fee, commission, success fee, finder's fee or origination incentive of any kind, at any percentage. Submitting information or an opportunity earns nothing and creates no entitlement to any payment, commission or compensation. We do not accept payment for introducing a site, a party or a transaction to anyone. Because no payment is offered for a submission, no tax question arises from making one.
Status of the figures
Costs, land ranges, participation numbers, county indices and modelled surpluses published here are labelled as verified data, official statistics, our own indicative estimates, our own projections, third-party figures or proposed targets. Indicative estimates and projections are planning figures built from published Kenyan indicators and stated methods. They are not quotations, valuations, estate-agency services, surveys, title investigations, investment recommendations, financial promotions, professional feasibility studies or advice, and they must not be relied upon to buy, sell, lease, finance or develop land, or to acquire, dispose of or hold any investment or security.
Third parties are independent
Any professional named or introduced through this platform is independent of KickStartKenyaFootball, is responsible for their own work, and contracts directly with you. Where we describe someone as independently verified, that means only that on the date shown a person checked the named regulator's own register. It is not a warranty of competence, solvency, honesty or future performance, and it does not replace your own due diligence.
We do not handle money
KickStartKenyaFootball does not hold investment funds, land deposits, purchase money or rent, does not operate escrow, does not accept cash for a project, does not transmit funds between parties and does not receive money on behalf of a government, landowner, investor or professional. Transaction funds must pass through an appropriately regulated bank, an advocate's client account, a licensed payment provider or another lawful arrangement chosen by the responsible parties and their own advisers.
Opportunities and projects
An opportunity published on this site is an opportunity. Unless a project is expressly labelled funded, under construction or operational, no money has been committed and no delivery is under way. We do not present a preliminary submission as though it were funded or being delivered.
Government and regulator references
Where a ministry, county government, regulator, federation or other body is named, it is listed for public-information and research purposes only. No affiliation, sponsorship, approval, appointment or endorsement is stated or implied unless expressly confirmed in writing and identified on that page. We use no government or regulator logo without written permission, and we are not an official partner of any government body, regulator or football federation. The organisations shown as official partners at the foot of every page are the only partnerships we claim, and each is confirmed in writing.
Accuracy and corrections
We publish sources and review dates and we correct errors. Tell us if something here is wrong and we will investigate, correct the record where the evidence supports it, and log the correction. Information submitted by the public stays marked as under review until an administrator has verified and approved it.
Your submissions
By sending information you confirm you have the right to send it and, where you have consented, to allow it to be shared or the verified facts within it published. Do not send anything confidential, defamatory or subject to someone else's copyright, and do not send identity, tax, banking or title documents. We may edit, decline or remove any submission.
Intellectual property
The text, structure, models, data compilations, PDFs and design of this site belong to KickStartKenyaFootball, except where a third-party source is credited. You may quote and link to it with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts of it, or use it to train commercial models, without written permission.
Liability
The site is provided in good faith and as it stands. To the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any decision taken in reliance on figures labelled as indicative estimates or projections, or for the acts, omissions or work of any independent professional. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms, and any dealings with KickStartKenyaFootball, are governed by Kenyan law. Any agreement about a specific opportunity, land or project is governed by Kenyan law too.
Arbitration in Nairobi
If something goes wrong, tell us first — most things are settled by two people reading the same page. A dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to arbitration seated in Nairobi under the Arbitration Act 1995, administered by the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration, before a single arbitrator, conducted in English, and the award is final. Each side carries its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.
What arbitration does not take away
It does not remove your statutory or consumer rights, and nothing here excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Either of us may still go to the small claims court where the claim belongs there, and either of us may ask a Kenyan court for an urgent interim order — to stop something being published or destroyed, for instance — without waiting for an arbitrator. Nothing above stops you complaining to a regulator, including the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

KickStartKenyaFootball is based in Nairobi and Kenyan law applies to it. Where a Kenyan company is registered to carry the work, it is published on the governance page with its number and the date it was registered; where nothing is published there, nothing is held.

Estate agency, valuation, legal advice, survey, planning, design, costing, construction, environmental assessment, investment advice, handling money, insurance, recruitment and player representation are referred to an independent professional or business holding the required Kenyan registration, licence or approval.
