How We Work, And What We Are Not
The workflow, drawn honestly: what happens inside KickStartKenyaFootball, where the line is, and who picks it up on the other side. This page exists so nothing has to be inferred from a disclaimer.

The one-line version
We are a research and opportunity-discovery platform. We read, we model and we publish. We make no introductions and take no part in any transaction. Anything that requires a Kenyan licence is done by somebody else, appointed by you, and always by somebody whose registration we have checked against their own regulator.
Step one — you tell us something
A preliminary expression of interest: your name, email, telephone, an organisation if there is one, the county, a broad category and a short description, plus the standing you have to discuss it. Nothing more. No ID, no passport, no KRA PIN, no CR12, no bank or M-Pesa details, no title documents, no signature, no upload. Telling us costs nothing, commits you to nothing and earns nothing automatically.
Step two — a person reads it
A human reads every submission. An AI pass may help sort, score and spot duplicates; it publishes nothing and decides nothing. This is unregulated work: reading, sorting and asking questions of fact.
Step three — an initial, non-professional information review
Where it is useful we look at public data — census population, county economics, published land indicators, pitch standards — and may publish an indicative development scenario. This is football-development research. It is not a valuation, an estate-agency service, a survey, a title investigation, an investment recommendation or a professional feasibility study, and it must not be relied upon to buy, sell, lease, finance or develop land.
Step four — you appoint the professional, we step back
If a regulated question has to be answered, we tell you plainly which kind of licensed professional answers it and point you at the published register. We do not send them your information, make an introduction, appoint them, instruct them, supervise them, take a cut of their fee or act for either side. You find them, you contract with them, and what you agree is between you.
The line, drawn plainly
Unregulated, and ours: research, editorial, indicative scenarios, publishing directories of licensed professionals, receiving expressions of interest and identifying where football infrastructure could go. Regulated, and never ours: introducing a specific property or party to anyone, marketing land, finding a buyer or a vendor, negotiating price or tenure, collecting offers, taking any part in a transaction, producing a market or forced-sale value, signing or sealing a site report, title and conveyancing, survey, planning, environmental assessment, design and costing, construction, investment advice, arranging or pooling investment, holding client money, insurance, recruitment and player representation. Anyone needing regulated work appoints a licensed professional directly; we are not in the middle of it and take no part in what is agreed.
Who picks it up
A sale, purchase or lease goes to an EARB-registered estate agent. A formal value goes to a registered valuer. Title and contracts go to an advocate with a current practising certificate. Boundaries go to a licensed land surveyor, change of use to a registered physical planner, design and costing to BORAQS-registered architects and quantity surveyors, structures to an engineer registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya, building to an NCA-registered contractor, environmental assessment to a NEMA-licensed expert, and regulated investment work to a CMA-licensed intermediary. Each of them is independent of us.
What verification means here
On the date shown, a person checked the named regulator's own register and found that registration or licence. That is all it means. It is not a warranty of competence, solvency, honesty or future performance, it says nothing about the future, and it does not replace your own due diligence. Nobody is published in the register until that check is recorded — the platform refuses to publish a listing without a regulator, a number and a date.
Money
We do not hold investment funds, land deposits, purchase money or rent, we do not operate escrow, we do not accept cash for a project and we do not move money between parties. Any transaction funds pass through a regulated bank, an advocate's client account or a licensed payment provider chosen by the responsible parties and their own advisers.
Incentives
There are none. KickStartKenyaFootball offers no introduction fee, commission, success fee, finder's fee or origination incentive, at any percentage, to anyone, for anything. No percentage is published because none exists, nothing is calculated, and no arrangement is discussed or agreed for introducing a site, a party or a transaction — before or after the event.
Conduct
We publish an anti-bribery and corruption policy, a conflicts-of-interest policy, a gifts and hospitality register, a third-party due-diligence procedure, a whistleblowing route and a prohibition on unofficial facilitation payments. Any payment demanded from a landowner, school, community or county in our name should be reported to us immediately, and we report onwards as the law requires.
Where we are, and what that does not buy us
KickStartKenyaFootball is operated by Typhoon Sports Group Ltd, incorporated in England and Wales, working alongside a Kenyan company where one is published on our governance page. Its overseas incorporation does not exclude the operation of mandatory Kenyan laws where those laws apply, and we do not claim otherwise. We describe ourselves as carrying on a licensed Kenyan business only where the registration is published here with its number and date.
The entity behind this platform
KickStartKenyaFootball is an independent football research, heritage, development and opportunity-discovery platform operated by Typhoon Sports Group Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales. It is not the governing body of football in Kenya.

KickStartKenyaFootball performs no work requiring a Kenyan licence, registration or practising certificate that it does not hold. Any Kenyan registration held is published on this page with its number and the date it was granted; none is recorded here at present. Estate agency, valuation, legal advice, survey, planning, design, costing, construction, environmental assessment, investment advice, handling money, insurance, recruitment and player representation are referred to an independent professional or business holding the required Kenyan registration, licence or approval.
